In this article commissioned by IDM magazine, I unravel a novel set of circumstances which led to multiple court proceedings between a regulator (APRA) and a Sydney solicitor over the contents of a forensic image held on a computer hard drive in her office safe.
The case was Porter v Australian Prudential Regulations Authority [2009] FCA 1148.
